We are excited to be launching the next phase of our Transformative Justice project in hyper-policed zip codes of North Tulsa!! We are looking for circle-keepers to help our neighbors navigate harm and conflict. We invite you to create with us safer alternatives to dealing with harm that doesn't require police or other system involvement. This project is about putting the power to protect our communities back into the communities hands. After being trained as a circle keeper you will also have opportunities to contract with RJIOK to host conflict and support circles in the community and be compensated at $25- $50 an hour (A circle case can take up to 3-5 hours of time). If you are a person that cares about the community, curious about what drives people to harm others, and willing to be a part of the healing process for others this work is for you! By participating in the training you will be compensated at $25 an hour if you live or work in the zip codes of 74106, 74126, 74170, 74110, 74115, or 74130. (10 hours of training) The trainings well be held at Still She Rises on Saturday Jan 21st from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm (lunch and snacks included) and Sunday Jan 22nd from 1 pm - 4pm (snacks included).
