As the Warehouse Associate, you'll be reporting to the warehouse manager. The Associate will be held to a high standard of performance and communication with both internal employees and external customers/vendors. The position includes physical warehouse work, and computer familiarity is required. Training will be provided. The ideal applicant will have experience in an ecommerce fulfillment warehouse and experience with using warehouse management softwares. Trainability is paramount. We operate with a very lean team and expect clock in time to be utilized to the maximum. You will be working in a non air-conditioned warehouse in Hollywood FL. Hot summers, cool winters. What your day will look like: Working with the warehouse manager to prioritize tasks for the day's operations. Following standard protocol to ensure warehouse transactions are being done properly and efficiently. Picking required inventory for customer shipments and bulk orders Prep, box and palletize as necessary for shipping Frequently move boxes weighing up to 60 pounds throughout the warehouse Operate a pallet jack, or forklift to move inventory load/unload trucks Unload and put away the occasional container shipment Assist with inventory management, including counting and inspecting items Relocating inventory Maintain work area and general upkeep of warehouse/office facility Inventory cycle counts Load/unload deliveries/pickups Ensure packages are collected by the correct carrier COMPETENCIES To perform this job successfully, you must be able to take instruction, give instruction, have the ability to stay on task with minimal supervision and be very detail oriented. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Excellent organization and time management skills Must be a self-motivator and be able to accomplish tasks in a timely manner Great oral and written communication skills Forklift certification a plus, but not required Must be computer savvy - ability to learn and be trained on internal software Previous warehouse experience of 2+ years Ecommerce warehousing and fulfillment experience a plus MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift 55 lbs or more on a regular basis. Occasional lifting in excess of 70 lbs required Reliable commute to Hollywood, FL SCHEDULE Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM (winter schedule will result in earlier close on Fridays).
