Kids can come to our churches and ministry programs having experienced some challenging events in their young life. These adverse childhood experiences can result in strong thoughts and feelings and even challenging behaviors. This free live event is for Sunday school teachers, paid and volunteer staff of children’s or youth ministry programs who want to learn what trauma is, how it impacts children and some strategies on supporting children and youth in your congregations. Trauma Informed Ministry will take place on February 9th from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 pm. It will be held in person at our state-of-the-art training facility on Chaddock’s main campus in Quincy. This training session is free to attend. FREE childcare is also available for up to 20 children , ages 0-12 for attendees. You can register for childcare when you reserve your seat for the workshop.
