Valentine’s Day. A day for love, kisses, and…commercialism. If you’re one of the many who would rather drown in Ben & Jerry’s than watch another “surprise” proposal, please join the Tewksbury Public Library for our Anti-Valentine’s Day Party on February 14th at 6:30 PM. There will be no candlelit dinners or heartfelt confessions here. Rather, join us in breaking hearts (well, heart-shaped piñatas), playing games, and treating ourselves. And all for free! We'll spend the first half of the evening: breaking hearts (piñatas) decorating heart-shaped cookies treating ourselves (to some snacks and self-care) adding red flags to the “Wall of Horrors” loving our self-ies (photo booth anyone?) Around 7:15, we'll start our game of Break-Up Trivia. The winner will take home a themed prize. Refreshments will be served. This event is suitable for singles, couples, and anyone in between. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Tewksbury Public Library.
