Come on an intellectually sophisticated exploration of today’s Israeli politics, Benjamin Netanyahu’s new coalition government, and the implications for American Jewry. As an accomplished and awarded American-born, Israel-based journalist, Linda Gradstein offers her unique, more than 30-year-long perspective on Israel's dynamic political landscape.
Gradstein’s credentials include serving as the current Israel bureau chief of The Media Line news agency, and as a freelance contributor to Voice of America, CBS Radio, and the Jerusalem Report. She also teaches journalism at NYU–Tel Aviv. Prior to her current assignments, Gradstein spent 20 years reporting for NPR covering everything from the rise of Hamas, the intifada, the mass migration of Soviet immigrants to Israel, political assassinations, the Persian Gulf War, major elections and the changes they heralded. She earned both the Overseas Press Club Award and the Alfred I. Dupont Award for Excellence in Broadcast Journalism.
