The Emerging Leaders Summit, hosted by the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Great Smoky Mountain Chapter, is an afternoon event designed for both professionals and students interested in, or new to, nonprofit marketing, fundraising, and leadership. The Emerging Leaders Summit will be held on February 17, 2023, and will take place at Cumberland House on White Avenue in Knoxville between 1-5 p.m. The Summit will feature a keynote speaker, breakout sessions, and a panel of local nonprofit leaders. Participants will learn important professional skills and engage with other emerging leaders interested in nonprofits and fundraising. Included at the end of the event is a networking session which will allow attendees to mingle with participants and organizers alike. Whether you are a new or aspiring nonprofit leader or exploring a potential career path, this event is an exciting and innovative way to continue your journey of professional development. Remember the event starts at 1pm so please arrive early to register and find your seats. Space is limited- Please RSVP by February 10, 2023. Please select one of the options outlining a preferred order of breakout sessions. Space for these sessions will be first come first serve, the selects are outlined in order of your preference. Please select accordingly and you will be given your breakout session upon registration on the day of the event.
