We are honoring 12 high school senior males of color who represent different high school in Charlotte and the surrounding areas. The BEAM Foundation in association with the Beta Nu Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. created the Beautillion to celebrate the achievements of young men of color who are in their senior year of high school. These young men, or “Beaus”, represent a select few of the many candidates nominated to the Beautillion Program and are honored at the culminating Alpha Beautillion Gala. Each Beau is chosen in recognition of his demonstrated achievements in academics, the arts, community, church involvement, leadership, and his commitment to advance to college and complete a four-year degree in his field of choice. Proceeds from Beautillion 2022-2023 class will fund achievement awards for each Beau. By sharing in this celebrated tradition, we can ensure our young men continue the path to becoming Great Men among men.
