Its the first Comedy show of the year at the XL! The Bricks N Beer comedy night has been bringing comedy to the basement of the XL for over 4 years now! This months show features comedians from all over the Bay Area. Hosted by local comedian and producer Michael Booth, this lineup is sure to keep you laughing all night! Jamar Pitts is a comedian based in San Francisco. Jamar's unique perspective and contagious energy fill the room with laughter. His quick thinking also comes in handy when he's doing a Roast Battle or interacting with the crowd. He recently headlined Cobb's Comedy Club in San Francisco and has also has performed at the Alameda Comedy Club and Laughs Unlimited as well as the Comedy Store in LA. Susan Maletta is a Silicon Valley-based comedian who creates an instant connection with her audience that delights the spirit yet can sometimes pollute the mind. This corporate run-away, divorce survivor, and single parent fires off her relatable insights in a high-energy, charismatic performance that is sure to entertain and amuse any audience. Susan Maletta has appeared on Nick-at-Nite’s America’s Funniest Mom 3 and was featured in the documentary film, "Comedy ’Aint for the Money", and on Hulu. She won 1st place in the Tommy T's Comedy Club comedy contest and 2nd place in Rooster T. Feathers Comedy Club's annual competition. Wendy Lewis who also goes by Awkwardcougar is a makeup artist turned comedian. Wendy has performed in Burlesque shows and a regular as a pop culture commentator on TMZLive for over 4 years. Fast forward to 2022 and she has opened up for Rob Schneider, Bobby Lee, and T. K. Kirkland. She will have you laughing like you are an old friend with her one liners and voices. Your Headliner this month is Corde Snell. Corde Snell is a California based comic with roots in both the San Francisco Bay Area and LA. Corde has been performing all over California at The Comedy Store, Cobb's, Punchline, San Jose Improv, Reno Improv opening for names such as Moshe Kasher and Brent Ernst. Corde brings his unique brand of comedy stemming from his own life experiences and the absurdity that has surrounded them. You don't want to miss this one!
