A fun way to give back to the community? United Way of Southwest Georgia has a fresh approach to getting the community involved. We don't only need your donations but we need your time too! RUN THE RACE is our Campaign for 2022-2023. Our race to run is making sure that every need is met from education, financial, literacy, shelter and so much more. With the RUN THE RACE - Scavenger Hunt, this will be an exciting way to explore Albany with hidden clues and navigate you to your next destination. Some destinations will require photo evidence on social media once you figure out the clue but there's three to four clues that will lead you to a non-profit organization to take on a 20 minute challenge to serve that non-profit in a fun and engaging way. Yes! You're volunteering for 20 minutes and it's a race to get the task done right, finish the course and cross the finish line. The winning team will receive a prize. So put on your tennis shoes, active gear and let's make a difference in a United Way! RUN THE RACE!
