About the class!In this class, you will learn how to make and decorate delicious Valentine's Day themed sugar cookies. I'll guide you through the process step-by-step and provide you with all the tools and supplies you need to create your own beautiful, tasty treats. Whether you are a seasoned baker or a complete beginner, this class is perfect for you. No experience is necessary, and all skill levels are welcome. This is a great opportunity to get creative, have fun, and spend quality time with your Galentine (or Valentine)! I'll provide everything needed, from cookies to icing & everything in between! You'll even get a box to take your awesome creations home in - we just need YOU! Come by yourself or bring a friend - we'll have plenty of seating! Either way, you'll have a blast so come and join me for a sweet time! We will be meeting at the Multi-Purpose Room at the Sahara West Library located at 9600 W Sahara Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89117. You can also add on an Additional Class Kit so you can bring home the fun! FAQWhat will I be doing in the in-person class? You’ll have a ton of fun! We’ll go over some cookie basics & terminology, practice piping to give you a feel for holding an icing bag, then jump right into decorating your very own set! Do I need to know how to bake? Nope! I’ll have it all baked & ready to go! BONUS: I’ll send you home with my actual recipe in case you want to take a stab at baking! What will we learn in class? Since this is a cookie decorating class, you’ll first learn some decorating techniques & then you’ll jump straight into decorating! You’ll learn tips & tricks along the way, & if we finish a little early, I'll have a photo area with props for you to take pictures of your beautiful masterpieces! What do I need to bring? Yourself! (And your phone to capture the memories!) Everything you need will be provided so all you need to do is join me and have fun! What age is best for cookie classes? My classes are suitable for ages 12 & up! However, all classes held in wineries or other liquor establishments require all attendees to be 21+. What will I bring home? By the end of the class, you will have created a set of decorated sugar cookies placed in a windowed bakery box. The cookies need 24 hours to dry before the icing is fully set, but once dried, you’ll be able to handle them without ruining the design. Can I sign up as an individual or as a group? You can sign up either as an individual, with a friend, or with a whole group. The more the merrier! I’m limiting it to a total of 12 seats, so definitely sign-up ASAP! Can I share my supplies with a friend? Unfortunately, you may not. Each participant will need a purchased ticket to attend. Where is the class located? This class will be held at Multi-Purpose Room at the Sahara West Library located at 9600 W Sahara Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89117. I signed up for a class but can't make it? Sometimes, things happen out of your control. I get that! That’s why I'll allow you to cancel up to 5 days before the class. You can always transfer your spot to a friend though (what a nice friend you are). Please read below for my Cancellation Policies. About Sugar Cookie Classes!Who doesn't love going out and doing something fun while also eating delicious cookies?! That's what sugar cookie classes are all about! Our classes are based in Nevada and cater to the beginner cookier. Whether you just want a fun date, a girls-night-out or just want to explore what cookie decorating is on your own - we have a seat for you. All you will need to bring is yourself, and we take care of the rest. You will get a set of pre-baked cookies (pretty tasty if I do say so myself) as well as all the supplies & tools you will need to decorate them. Our classes are about two hours long. That gives us enough time to decorate the cookies and answer any questions along the way. You will leave the class with your very own box of your newly decorated cookies! We are starting classes throughout the year which will highlight different themes so be sure to subscribe to our VIP Email list so you can get in on the cookie action! Add an Additional Class Kit to your Order! Order your Additional Class Kit today and take the class home with you! My class kits come with everything you need to recreate your set at home! I’ll have the kits with me at class so you can pick up your pre-ordered kits before you leave. Although your kits can last for a couple of weeks at room temperature (longer if frozen), I recommend using it ASAP & within a week. You may notice some separation occurring in the icing after a day or two. That’s okay! This is a natural occurrence and DOES NOT mean your icing is bad. Just knead your bag to recombine the icing before decorating. Allergens: Contains Wheat, Milk & Eggs. Please consider your allergies before registering. Eventbrite Fees: Your ticket price includes your Eventbrite fees; however, Eventbrite does not refund fees. If you cancel your ticket for a refund, we'll give you a refund less the Eventbrite fee - since we don't get this back either. Eventbrite keeps it regardless if you show up or cancel. *sad face* Illness / General Cancellation Policy for In-Person Classes:Showing Symptoms Before 5 Days Out: If you’re sick prior to the 5-day refund cutoff, you can cancel for a full refund, less the Eventbrite fees! Your ticket price includes your Eventbrite fees; however, Eventbrite does not refund fees. If you cancel your ticket for a refund, we'll give you a refund less the Eventbrite fee - since we don't get this back either. Eventbrite keeps it regardless of if you show up or cancel. To request a refund through Eventbrite, follow these steps. Showing Symptoms After 5 Days Out: For any sickness symptoms prior to your class’s start time but after the 5-day refund policy, please email me before your class’s start time, and I’ll give you a credit for the next class! Showing Symptoms Upon Arrival: If you arrive at class with cold/flu-like symptoms, I’ll ask that you please leave class, but I’ll give you a full credit towards a future class. I want you better! You Don't Show Up or Email Prior To Class: If I do not hear from you before your class’s start time, and you do not show up for class, I won’t be able to offer you a refund or a credit regardless of if you're sick.
