Lifeboat Addiction Recovery is partnering with several community organizations to host “The Felony Expungement Fair”. A 3 hour event where participants can perform a criminal background check, seek legal advice, and apply to remove qualifying charges from their personal records. This is all funded through various non-profit organizations, which means that the event is open to the public at no cost to participants.

Criminal Backgrounds can be a barrier to employment opportunities. Employment opportunities are very important for people going through the Substance Use Disorder pipeline. Employment can make the difference when finding a place to live, going through the criminal justice system, or living in a healthy household. Lifeboat is working with community organizations to make a change.
