Position Title: Housekeeper F.L.S.A. Status: Non-Exempt Reports To: Estate Manager Summary of Position: Cleans the family residences and performs other duties as directed by the Estate Manager consistent with the upkeep and use of the family’s residences. Essential Job Functions: 1. Clean all areas of the family’s residences (except the master bedroom wings), using approved and supplied cleaning methods, materials, supplies, and chemicals. 2. Maintain detailed and exacting care regarding the cleanliness of all areas of the residences. 3. Treat the furnishings of the home with care. 4. Learn the policies, procedures, and method of the households in order to insure enjoyment of the family’s use of the residences. 5. Assist in stocking various consumable items for the family’s use. 6. Assist in care of the family’s pets. 7. Greet guests in the home and help direct them to where they belong. 8. Run errands or pick up items for the Estate Manager or the family. 9. Serve or clean at weekend or evening social events. 10. Must maintain confidentiality regarding the family, its property, and its activities. Number of Employees Supervised: 0 Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm (30 minutes provided with pay for the supplied lunch) Special Events outside normal hours as needed (at overtime rate of pay) Job Requirements: Must have use of an automobile Experience in household cleaning preferred Great work ethic and stamina Locations: Primary Residence in Flowood, MS Recreational Property in Brandon, MS Optional Work at Residence (Football weekends) in Starkville, MS Other Requirements: Professional Uniforms Supplied and Required.
