Weekend hiking for parents and kids with autism

Hi! I'd really like to do a weekend hiking trip with my 6 year old son on the spectrum and other parents who's kids are on the spectrum. He's verbal, he's active, he's just special. Sometimes he struggles making and keeping friends because of his special interests and I just want to help bridge the gap by finding friends outside of school that he can relate to. If you're interested, please email me so we can coordinate something. I'm open to any area on the island, Brooklyn or Queens. I'd like to do it over this long weekend coming up. Nothing crazy extensive, maybe an hour and some change. :)
