Made a friend here a few years ago, though feels like an eternity ago. She’d be in her early 50’s now, I’m now in my mid 30s. She worked with animals and while we both had issues with people, both loved animals. She was especially fond of cats, turtles and birds. We clicked in a way that almost scared us both. We talked every day, sometimes all day off and on, through texts or emails. Things changed at a point and she abruptly vanished. There’s been a void for that type of friend for years since. Not looking to change anyone’s situation. Not looking for men or for a hookup!
