Cleaning product supplier and full-service repairs company located in Pinellas County is seeking Warehouse Shop Helper to join the team. Great opportunity for someone looking to begin a career path and is willing to learn! This role is entry level, you will receive 40 hours of virtual and hands-on training and become certified! You will have your own workspace with the ability to work independently and not micro managed. Position will consist of organization of the warehouse, your shop space, and learning to complete repairs and maintenance on equipment such as carpet cleaners, floor scrubbers, and buffers/polishers etc. This position will include driving a company vehicle to client facilities at times. Must have a valid driver’s license. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm - weekly pay! Responsibilities: -Assist in the completion of various work orders or repairs in the shop -Perform equipment testing -Keeping equipment in good working order -Routine repairs and preventative maintenance checks -Respond to calls from clients with equipment failures -Effectively communicate with clients and staff -Performs additional duties requested by the Supervisor to ensure effective and efficient operation Requirements: -Must have valid driver’s license (Required) to drive company vehicle -Comfortable working hands on with tools -Troubleshooting skills -Must be mechanically inclined -Must have the eagerness to learn -Ability to pass pre-employment drug and background screenings Compensation starts at $17.00 - 18.00 per hour BOE, and full benefits offered after the initial probationary period.
