1970s plays such a significant role in Black History from the several pertinent legislations being passed to its iconic music. #mmd is an opportunity to celebrate black history and take the time to recognize current members of the black community who have continuously given of their time, finances and resources in order to continue the fight for true equity and justice on behalf of us all. So join us for an incredible night, of music, drinks, light apps and community This is event is an opportunity to highlight and celebrate fellow activist and leaders within the black community who have continually given of their time, finances, and resources to advocate for true equity. We will be choosing 3-4 recipients who have helped create economic mobility, health care equity, justice, and education. In addition we will be awarding two award winners with a Scholarship that can assist them in furthering their work within the community work.
