The Police Accountability Commission (PAC) is holding a community q + a session in person on January 10th. This is a chance for you to come ask questions, meet some of the volunteer Commissioners, share your thoughts, and discuss any ideas you have for how police oversight and accountability should work in Portland. The PAC is not part of the Portland Police Bureau. The PAC is a group of volunteer community members working to implement the Real Police Accountability ballot measure, approved by Portland voters in 2020. 82% of Portlanders voted in favor of creating a new community police oversight board, and the City Council set up this commission to work with the community to develop the details of the new system.
