Light Up the Night: 21+ Prom

Come dance the night away at the Light up the Night 21+ Prom. Event will feature DJ, Dancing, raffles (additional charge), professional photo opportunity (additional charge), hors d'oeuvres and a no host cash bar. $35 per person covers admission into dance and hors d'oeuvres. Optional ticket upgrade of $40 to include a boutonniere and corsage will be available until two weeks prior to event (February 17th). Prom is being hosted as a Fundraising event for the Longview Parks and Recreation Foundation. The Foundation's purpose is to enhance quality of place in the City of Longview and surrounding areas by proactively seeking multiple avenues of revenue to support, improve, enhance, and expand the park system and programs maintained and provided by the Longview Parks and Recreation Department. The Foundation has provided funding for projects including Victoria Freeman Park Garden, Skate Park rejuvenation, Teen Center renovation and Before/After School and Summer Camp Scholarships. The Foundation plans to use funds raised from Prom for the People, Parks and Programs run by Longview Parks and Recreation Department including things like continued support of scholarships for local youth, purchasing modular furniture for the newly renovated and opened Teen Center and much more.
