Everyone who spends time cooking needs to have Knife Skills. In this class, the Chef will explore with you different types of Knives from a bread knife to a fish knife and their uses. You will learn how to sharpen and preserve you knives. If you’re in the market for new knives the Chef will share his preferred knives or bring you own to the class.
Once these basics are covered we will get down to the business of hands on cutting and chopping. Learn techniques for dicing, julienne, chiffonade, chopping and slicing. You will practice this skills making a stir-fry meal and vegetable soup to take home.
