Registration information
Teach Out Loud was founded in 2022 by three Acadiana educators, Morgan Mercado, Taylor Wallace (DoubleDutyTeachers), and Andre Deshotel, who saw a need in the education field. Teach Out Loud is holding their inaugural conference for teachers, by teachers to grow a network of educators to connect, inspire, and learn. It will be on Saturday, March 18th 2023 from 9-3 at the UL Lafayette student union. We are a continuously growing network of educators brought together to connect, inspire, and learn. With the support of the Pugh Family Foundation and hosted by the UL College of Education and Human Development, your $20 registration fee will give you access to professional development sessions, lunch, a t-shirt, giveaways, and more!
Need childcare? Thanks to generous support from The Pugh Family Foundation, we are offering a free STEM camp for up to 40 students in grades 1-5 so you can attend the Teach Out Loud conference. The camp will offer on-campus excursions, hands-on robotics and coding experiences, lunch, and other exciting learning opportunities.
