To apply for ICPS Entrance Exam, the following is required: Click on the Tickets button to select the ticket type. Select the appropriate grade level ticket and then complete the payment process. Next you will need to complete the required information on the Application Form. Be sure to include the name and email address of a teacher willing to complete a recommendation. Do not send us a teacher recommendation or a report card at this time. There is a non-refundable Application/Exam Fee of $50. Students needing financial aid should select the appropriate option instead of the grade level option. Students whose school will be paying for them should select the "MY SCHOOL IS PAYING" option. Exam Information: Exam Date: Saturday, April 1, 2023 For students currently in grade 4 or grade 5: Please purchase the ticket for the the 5/6 exam. The exam time is 10 AM to 12 noon. Please arrive at the Campus Center of SUNY Old Westbury 30 minutes prior to the exam time (9:30 AM). For students currently in grade 6 or grade 7: : Please purchase the ticket for the the 7/8 exam. The exam time is 2 PM to 4 PM. Please arrive at the Campus Center of SUNY Old Westbury 30 minutes prior to the exam time (1:30 PM). For students currently in grade 8 or grade 9: : Please purchase the ticket for the the 9/10 exam. The exam time is 2 PM to 4 PM. Please arrive at the Campus Center of SUNY Old Westbury 30 minutes prior to the exam time (1:30 PM). You must bring the ticket that you receive from Eventbrite indicating your payment. You will need to bring at least two #2 pencils. Calculators, cell phones, drinks and snacks are NOT permitted in the exam room. Directions to SUNY Old Westbury: The College is located just west of route 107, just past Jericho schools. The only entrance to the College that will be open is from route 107. Please do not call the office for results. Exam scores will not be made available under any circumstances. Be aware that we will be following Covid-19 protocols that have been created for the safety of all of the students and faculty who participate in the entrance exam for the ICPS program. At this time, there are no special requirements to deal with this matter. Mask wearing is optional. If the College decides that we are unable to hold the exam in-person at SUNY Old Westbury, the exam will be distributed via the internet. You will be notified through your email if this should occur.
