Join Councilwoman Chauna Banks for a public art and creative placemaking projects at the BREC park behind the Jewel J. Newman Community Center. Day 3 Schedule: 8 AM - 9 AM Site setup and group establishmentsCheck-in - Volunteers will need to arrive promptly at 8 am. Site setup will include: taping areas that do not need to be painted, laying down tarps, setting up brush cleaning stations, and placing materials in designated areas.Group establishments Volunteers will be arranged in groups A, B, and C and will be given tasks according to their designated groups. 9 AM - 11:30 AM Volunteers will paint in the areas that the artist has sketched out.11:30 AM - 12:00 PM BREAK 12 PM - 12:15 PM Site setup and group establishmentsCheck-in - Volunteers will need to arrive promptly at 12 PM. Group establishments: Volunteers will be arranged in groups A, B, and C and will be given tasks according to their designated groups. 12:15 PM - 3 PM Finishing touches of mural3 PM - 4 PM Area clean-up: Volunteers will assist with cleaning up everything in the area.
