Higher Ground is proud to host this year's Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service in partnership with Roots Health Clinic, Gamma Phi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity,Inc., AASEG, Planting Justice, Scraper Bike Team, Athenian High, City Council Member Treva Reid of District 7, Madison Park Academy, Brookfield Elementary, Service for Peace, Golden State Warriors, City of Oakland, Bay Area Air Management, Sobrante Park Leadership Council, and RAC. We plan to plant trees, neighborhood cleanup, mural painting, senior citizen home clean up, Brookfield Greenway maintenance, Edes beautification and so much more. Hope to see you there! SHIRT GIVEAWAY INFORMATION: In order to receive a free shirt you must complete your registration through Eventbrite. We plan to have shirts for the first 200 volunteers registered and signed in.
