Description

Someone giving away “Free Siamese” or free kittens in general out of Baltimore (could try to switch it up soon) asks for you to reach out by email if you’re interested. Once you contact by email, they then ask for your phone number. But instead of calling you, they text you and ask if it’s okay to send you a “code” just to see if you’re real. But here’s the catch: The code that comes in by text ends up being your Google verification code!!!!! They’re using the phone number you sent them to try to sign into your email account and change your password! To verify if someone’s actually real you lose NOTHING in calling them!!! I didn’t fall for it so thank God for discernment. But be alert at ALL TIMES when dealing on CL!
