The first annual Rockin’ Against Multiple Sclerosis Charity Gala will be held on Saturday, February 18th, 2023 at the Tiger Hotel in downtown Columbia, Missouri. Rockin’ Against Multiple Sclerosis (RAMS) is the largest student-led philanthropic organization at the University of Missouri. All proceeds we raise go directly to the Multiple Sclerosis Institute of Mid-Missouri. All funds raised go directly to those diagnosed with multiple sclerosis across the state of Missouri, helping them pay for items that aren’t covered by insurance—things such as motorized wheelchairs, handicap car conversions, and cooling vests. We work tirelessly alongside the MS Institute at MU Health Care, to enhance the quality of life for all mid-Missourians impacted by multiple sclerosis. We, as an organization, have two goals: to fundraise, and to raise awareness about the disease itself. With our first ever charity gala, we are hoping to achieve both of those goals; not only will we be fundraising for our cause, but we will be spreading awareness about this life altering disease.
