Be Stay Live WOMAN EMPOWERED 2023 is a fundraiser for the A. G. Gaston Boys and Girls Club. It’s  is a women’s empowerment conference where women receive a makeover from the inside out. This conference provides attendees with "faith-building tools" that will inspire, ignite and initiate them to soar to a place higher than their current situation. Dynamic speakers and presenters will break down practical applications to assist participants with the process of overcoming social, emotional, spiritual, financial, and physical barriers in order to keep going, never give up, and Be WOMAN EMPOWERED, Stay WOMAN EMPOWERED and Live WOMAN EMPOWERED! There are also other exciting and entertaining components provided at the conference. Proceeds will be donated to the A. G. Gaston Boys and Girls Club in an effort to aid in carrying out the mission of the club, to inspire and enable young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. The host of WOMAN EMPOWERED, Rochelle Gaston Malone, is the granddaughter of Dr. A. G. Gaston. Dr. Gaston, a Civil Rights icon, saw a need for youth to be mentored and guided in the right direction. He was very passionate about education and young people developing a plan for success at an early age, which led to his founding the A. G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club. Rochelle has a similar passion for education and children’s well-being. Like her grandfather, she has a strong desire to identify and eradicate the underlying economic problems and challenges that the African-American communities and businesses are experiencing. However her main goal or purpose is to empower the lives of others not to give up no matter what life throws at them, and this is why Ms. Malone dedicates her life to being a model of faith, light of hope and voice of encouragement for others, thus hosting WOMAN EMPOWERED . “Woman Empowered is a 1/2 day conference and luncheon that will educate and inspire women to become the best version of themselves.
