"Garage Band" Looking for a Bass Player and Vocals

Meets

Fort Worth TX

Description

Hello! We are in process of forming a garage band. Currently its two guitarists and a drummer. We are are looking to find a bass player and a Singer. We are playing for fun, to get better at the instruments we love, and to enjoy playing with other like minded musicians. We are learning covers with the goal for us to get on stage an play, maybe even a few times a month if we really like it. We are going to learn a bunch of bar friendly songs, So 80's 90's Rock, 90's Alternative, and what ever cool songs that are fun to play and people will enjoy to hear us play. Next month we are getting a space to play in North Richland Hills, Until then we have a space in hurst. When we get the practice space in NRH we all will split the cost, which divided by four its around 75 a month. So please keep that in mind if you wish to join. We practice on Tuesdays, and may practice more if necessary. So, two of us are in our 40’s and one of us is in his 60’s however we all look damn good for our age :D. We do not care how old you are, we only care that you want to play, have your life together, and don't bring drama to the band. If you suck at the bass, or singing. that is OK. Just as long as you are willing to put in the time to learn the songs as we go, getting better will happen all on its own. If you for sure want to play, will put in the time necessary to learn the songs, and can show up to practice. That is all we ask. So if you want to hang out with some cool musicians, play your bass or sing in a "Garage Band", find your self on the stage down the line for fun. Then reach out. We would be happy to hear from you. These three songs, we are almost ready to play: Man In The Box - Alice In Chains Lonely Heart - Yes Show Me How To Live - Audioslave Here is our complete set list for now, we are leaning them in the order below... Current Set List: Man In The Box - Alice In Chains Show Me How To Live - Audioslave Owner Of A Lonely Heart - Yes Livin on a Prayer - Bon Jovi Pour Some Sugar On Me - Def Leppard I Won’t Back Down - Tom Petty Are You Gonna Go My Way - Lenny Kravitz Walk This Way - Aerosmith Seven Nation Army - White Stripes Crazy Train - Ozzy Osbourne Sweet Child Of Mine - Guns N’ Roses We are going to add more songs, rotate some songs out as we go etc… A lot may change once we get a singer and determine what range we have to work with. We are also hoping to have female singer as well. We will pick some cool song for the female vocals as well (Joan Jett, Pat Benatar etc..). Last thing, we all use signal for band meetings, Band video calls and just chatting back a forth. We would love to hear from you, please reach out if interested.
