Hello all, My name is Jake, and I’m in a band named Empty Calm. We are looking for new members to join and make some music together! Preferably 18+ with transportation and somewhat gig ready. We aren’t playing any shows currently as we are focused mainly on writing material but for later down the road and will generally help with practice sessions. We’re both at moderate - advanced levels of our respective skill sets and are easy going dudes. Our lineup currently consists of myself on Drums and our guitarist, Jesus. We are renting out a studio in Plano and pitch in evenly for rent which is $450 a month so please take this into consideration when reaching out! The music we are currently writing is shoe gaze/indie rock based, I’ll include a list of influences below to get an idea of what sound we’re going for. We have some material written already and some rough recordings so far. We also plan on adding some keys into mix but at a later time so it’s not crucial at the moment.
