I have a fantastic nile monitor! He is seriously a killer pet! Food driven and has never bitten me! And I grab his face so that’s sayingsomething. However he is still smallish so he can be skittish when you first grab him. He isn’t much of a tail whipper but he will scoot out of your way if you don’t try to grab him properly. I use gloves to get him out because his nails are sharp (I clip them occasionally but they grow extremely fast) he will feed off of tongs too which is super fun. Please have a set up as I won’t be selling his tank. And I will ask for proof. If you have anything smaller than a 40 gallon I will absolutely not sell him to you. 100. Please know about the care and future growth of this guy.
