Join us for a basic watercolor class via Zoom - Jean Anderson shares her love of watercolor! Dates: Monday February 15th, 22nd Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm Cost: $50 Max number of students: 6 Class Details: Have you always wanted to learn how to paint with watercolor? This is the class for you. You do not have to know how to draw. We can work around that. I believe anyone can paint and enjoy it. As soon as you dip a brush in paint and glide it across the paper, you will be hooked. No other paint has the quality of watercolor. We start painting immediately. At the end of the first class, you will have painted a small painting that you will be proud of. This is an interactive Zoom class. I have you watch me with a camera placed just above my brush as I talk you through what I am doing. Then I verbally repeat the process as you practice the technique. You can ask questions as we go along. This interaction is the same that I enjoy in my face-to-face classes. Students have told me it’s actually so much easier to see what I’m doing than in a live class. I ask students to hold their work up so I can see it from time to time to make sure I’m being clear. It’s a work in progress at the moment. I usually teach in Arizona during the winter, but COVID-19 has thrown a wrench in our plans to go down south. I am fortunate to have this time to offer Zoom classes which I’ve come to really love. Supply List: Normal watercolor supplies, Watercolor paint, paper, brushes, and other supplies are required. You will be given a supply list when you sign up.
