Thank youSession 1: 9:00am - 12:30pm Firearm's Safety and Law Seminar Minimum age: 18 years of age Course Cost $25.00 and includes lunch/refreshments. 0830 am doors open - please arrive early 0900 am sharp the seminar will begin. Presenters/Presentations: Berks County Sheriff Eric Weaknecht will do his popular presentation about The Right to Carry that covers state laws for concealed carry, transportation, and use of firearms. Sheriff Weaknecht will also discuss how to handle a law enforcement traffic stop when carrying a concealed firearm. Retired FBI Special Agent Sean Quinn of Gideon Private Investigations and Consulting will do a presentation that will cover considerations prior to using deadly force, de-escalation techniques, and more. Dillon Harris of the Civil Rights Defense Group (Josh Prince) will conduct another presentation to cover additional topics of interest that will include new regulations on firearms receivers and braces; medical marijuana and gun ownership/possession; and stricter Pennsylvania laws that prohibit people from owning firearms. Lunch is included and the fire company did an excellent job with serving hoagies so we will go with hoagies and/or cold cuts for sandwiches again. Session 2: 1:30 - 5:30pm Utah Non-Resident Concealed Carry Permit course Minimum age: 21 years old Course Cost $150.00 and includes refreshments. 0100 pm - arrive for fingerprinting - please arrive on time 0130 pm sharp the course will begin Presenter: Dave Chang, the owner of Civil Defense Concepts will conduct this 4-hour training course. The Utah Non-Resident Concealed Carry Permit (UNRCCP) allows for the carrying of a concealed weapon in 36 states including Delaware. The UNRCCP Course is a 4-hour course that consists of classroom training only. NO LIVE QUALIFICATION! No live ammo in the classroom. You will learn: Firearm Safety & Fundamental Lecture and a Utah Law Lecture. Fingerprinting will be available and starts 30 minutes prior to scheduled class start time. Entire lecture on removable media and the Application stamped by a Utah Certified Instructor included.
