Our goal is to empower individuals with assistance and resources; to reduce social isolation; and, to foster a sense of connection and resilience. We strive to create a welcoming environment, where all are encouraged to join their peers, as well as intergenerational and family opportunities, to improve health, well-being, and quality of life. Connie Assiff serves as the Manager of Health Services for Harris County Commissioner Adrian Garcia in Precinct 2. Connie is a health educator and connector of resources, empowering all populations to be resilient, active, and engaged in their communities. She has been featured on radio and television programs and has joined numerous health-related discussion panels. She also serves as Co-Chair for the Area Planning Advisory Council (APAC) for the Area Agency on Aging (AAA). Connie has a Master of Business Administration degree; works as a Community Health Worker – Instructor; and uses her decades of public service and caregiver experience to build partnerships, establish trust, and reduce health disparities in vulnerable populations.
