Confidence is knowing you have the ability to perform/act/do what ever task, albeit it physical, mental or otherwise, that you are about to indulge in or take on. Your definition is just about the most ignorant, and furthest thing from the truth I've ever heard, and we're all just that much more stupid for having read it. Confidence has nothing to do with being or thinking one is better than another. That's ego and arrogance, based in stupidity. Our education system is going to be the downfall of our society.
