Lead Installer – Overview We are a rapidly expanding company located in Farmingdale, NY and are seeking Field Installers to become a part of our team. You will assist with the installation/removal of banking equipment, ATMs, signage, vaults, safes, safe deposit boxes, and pneumatic tube systems. General construction related to ATMs and other various banking equipment as required. Field training provided. Lead is also responsible for effective and frequent communication back to the FM / PM / office team which includes milestone updates, site issue(s), and completion photos. Major Job Responsibilities (but not limited to): • Have a valid Driver’s License. • Dress appropriately; company logo shirt and approved work pants. • Ability to handle physical workload. • Familiarity with carpentry / construction. • Utilize office outlook calendar to check on schedule and job scopes. Schedule changes frequently so looking at calendar each day is expected. • Provide own hand tools (hand tool list provided upon hire); company to provide all other tools. • Perform site surveys including site drawings and survey reporting. • Work extended hours as required; some travel involved. Ability to drive long distances with possible overnight stays. • Ability to install and remove ATM and signage (Lobby, Through-the-Wall, Island Models). • Make modifications to walls and concrete pads for equipment installation. • Demonstrate safety knowledge and compliance for related fields. • Be a self-motivated individual and able to work well in teams. • Perform other duties as assigned. • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities. • Collaborate with FM / PM / Warehouse team as required. • Groom assistant installers and ensure learning environment. • Engage with clients in a positive and professional manner. • Provide excellent customer service to all branch personnel. Identify self as escalation point of contact for any issues. • Day of install; Ensure all equipment / material for job is properly loaded and correct equipment is loaded for success of job. o Ensure ATM loaded on truck matches scope of work on calendar entry. o Ensure Signage loaded on truck matches scope of work on calendar entry. o Ensure ALL materials / special tools are on truck to match required scope. o Flip truck at end of day. • Communicate effectively back to Field/Project manager project milestones. • Ability to use company applications on a mobile phone and manage text, email, calendar, and photos effectively. Required Education and Experience: • High school diploma/GED. • Previous ATM installation experience a PLUS. • Experience in carpentry, construction, heavy equipment moving is a plus. • Skilled with power tools (drills, sanders, grinders, saws, roto-hammers, basic hand tools). • Skilled with pallet jacks, forklift operation, trucks up to 26' box, and PC literate. • Conceptual knowledge/understanding of Network Communications (TCP/IP, Sub-netting, etc.). • Ability to read floor plans is a plus. • Must be able to stand and walk for most of the work shift. • Must be able to push, pull, lift, or carry more than 75 lbs. • Strong communication skills, including written, oral, and listening. • Safe driving record is required and DOT medical card (supplied by company). • Personal character in accordance with company’s core values and beliefs. • Required to pass a drug and background check.
