Aquacultural Research Corporation is a wholesaler of Cape Cod oysters and clams, and one of the largest shellfish hatcheries in New England supporting the Cape’s shellfish growers. Our Wholesale Department sells oysters and clams around the world and we are searching for a reliable Warehouse Assistant supporting our farms and warehouse operations. The Warehouse Assistant reports to our Warehouse Supervisor. Warehouse Assistant Responsibilities include: - Receiving shellfish from A.R.C. farm crew and independent harvesters - Packing and shipping of orders - Maintaining inventory counts - Creating shipping documents - Occasionally working in other departments as needed - If qualified, some deliveries of shellfish to transportation hubs Warehouse Assistant Qualifications include: - Must be able to lift up to 80lbs - Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required - Willingness to be flexible if asked to work in other departments on occasion - Be willing to work overtime if necessary - Positive attitude - Must have reliable transportation - Prior shellfish industry experience preferred but not required - CDL license preferred but not required The hours and schedule of this position are somewhat flexible for the right candidate – part-time or full-time work may be considered. Salary is $18-$21/hr. commensurate with experience. Full time candidates are eligible for paid vacation and sick leave, paid holidays, 401k with employer match, health, dental and life insurance.
