NEWSPAPER DELIVERY IN PORTSMOUTH, VA (contractor) PAY: $50-$350 + TIPS weekly, depending on paper count (currently seven routes open; more routes = more pay). Includes $250-$500 signing bonus on select routes and route packages ($25-$50 paid every 30 days for ten consecutive months) DETAILS: This is an overnight job delivering the Virginian-Pilot newspaper to subscribers in Portsmouth. Currently there are seven routes open in the CRADDOCK, CAVALIER MANOR, COLLINSWOOD/PORTSMOUTH BLVD and HIGH STREET areas. Combine contracts for multiple routes to increase weekly pay. Current contractors have first access to any new routes that become available. Pay is based on subscriber count, TIPS from your customers, and a monthly SERVICE BONUS based on customer satisfaction. Hours of operation are between 1:00am and 6:00am; as a contractor you will be entirely responsible for your own route(s) and your hours as long as all papers are delivered by 6:30am daily. Papers are delivered 7 days a week, 365 days a year, but this job is very easy to fit into otherwise busy school and work schedules, and you can set up your own substitute drivers/assistants at your discretion.
