This event will expose you to the experiences of individuals who are reentering society after incarceration. It is difficult to understand how having a criminal record creates overwhelming barriers that prevent access to many services and opportunities. This reentry simulation is designed to humbly reproduce some of what it's like to reintegrate into community, find employment, find housing, get education, and more after leaving prison or jail with the hope of inspiring employers, civic leaders, faith leaders, landlords, and the general public to greater compassion and tangible action for advancing successful reintegration for every person.
