Need a fun night during the darkest month of the year?! Like cookies? WE GOTCHA COVERED! Join us for this members-only event (oOooO aren't we ~exclusive~) where we'll decorate six cookies step-by-step with Veronica Adams from The Cookie Lady's Daughter. We'll also have a small panel during class for the current board members to answer questions and provide insight on what they do. This is a great chance to learn more and see if applying for the board is a good choice for you. All while making adorable, yummy cookies! This event is sponsored by The Cookie Lady's Daughter. Food & drinks: Beer, coffee/tea, kombucha/lemonade, and snacks (meat/cheese boards, pretzels, apple cider donuts) are available for purchase at the brewery. Or, come early and bring takeout to enjoy in the main taproom before the event starts! Outside beverages are not permitted. COVID Policy: Masks are not required for anyone vaccinated (though feel free to wear one if you're more comfortable that way); we ask that our unvaccinated friends continue to wear masks. Redemption Rock Brewing Company, our host! Redemption Rock Brewing Company is a craft brewery, taproom, and café right off Shrewsbury Street in Worcester. They are a Certified Benefit Corporation, or B Corp, which is a for-profit company that uses the power of business to build a more inclusive and sustainable economy. They are pet-friendly (although this event is not since we are on the turf area ;)), make great beer, host awesome pop-ups, and more. What's not to love?! Our presenter & her company: Veronica Adams is the owner & cookier at tCLD. She has been teaching classes in central Mass since 2019 (with Redemption Rock actually being her first location!) and has now taught over 40. She loves bringing people together and sharing her passion for cookies, and thinks breweries are one of the best places to do so! She graduated from Worcester State University in 2012 and previously worked in the biopharmaceutical world, but started her business in 2018 and has loved following her dream. She is actually closing up shop after this class for a 6-month trip abroad with her husband, but can't wait to explore faraway places and use her adventures to inspire events in the future! The Cookie Lady's Daughter (tCLD) specializes in sugar cookie decorating classes and take-home cookie decorating activities in the Worcester area. Each activity or class is created for maximum fun and memory-making.
