Your ticket includes a charcuterie box and 1 complimentary beverage in the Old School lounge.Join the at the Old School for the Georgetown Cultural Arts Program's Signature Devil Moon Series! Purnell Steen and The Five Points Ambassadors will take the stage on February 11th at 7 pm for a night filled with stunning jazz music and vocals. Steen, a Five Points Jazz artist, and his band strive to preserve the sounds of "five points jazz" and Denver's thriving jazz community. Denver's Five Points, know as the "Harlem of the West" had over fifty bars and clubs and played host to all the greats: pianist and bandleader Duke Ellington, singers Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald, saxophonist Charlie Parker, and trumpeter Miles Davis, just to name a few. Local players kept things cooking, and soon enough the Five Points sound emerged, a brand of jazz characterized by red-hot swing and boundless  joie de vivre.
