Josh Turner first performed his breakout single Long Black Train at The Grand Ole Opry in 2001. Just six short years later, he was invited to become one of the youngest members. Since then, he has released seven studio albums, including gospel album I Serve a Savior, which has already hit No. 2 on the US Country Chart. With his rich bass/baritone vocals and catchy melodic singles like Why Don't We Just Dance, you can be certain to see much more of Josh Turner in the future as he charms audiences during his live concert tours.
He Serves a Savior
Josh Turner is a devout Christian, and his latest album exemplifies this with recordings of his most inspiring gospel hymns. While growing up in the church, he helped form a gospel band called Thankful Hearts. It was during their performances that he realized his dreams of performing on a larger scale. He believes God has called him to be a country and gospel singer, and he is not taking that calling lightly.
