Forest Therapy or Forest Bathing comes from the traditions of Shinrin Yoku and other European and indigenous cultures. We invite you to join us in reconnecting with nature by participating in a guided Forest Bathing experience. Allow yourself to connect with the park in a way you never have before. The program includes a short, no more than a half-mile walk at a slow pace.
Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and bring water, snacks, and a towel or cushion for sitting on the ground.
Participants will meet in front of the Hippo Playground in Riverside Park at 3:20 PM. The guide will be wearing a purple and white backpack and will be stationed outside the Hippo Plaground restrooms. The walk will begin promptly at 3:30pm.
