Alzheimer's Disease is the number 3 cause of death in Orange County. The last 20+ years of Alzheimer's research evaluating hundreds of therapies have not yielded any significant breakthrough in a medication that can modify the trajectory of this condition. This year is different. Come chat with Dr Trinh about the FDA decision for accelerated approval of Lecanemab, an anti-Amyloid Alzheimer's medication that has the potential to change the trajectory of Alzheimer's disease. Also included in the discussion are new strategies for screening, diagnosis and reducing Alzheimer's risk factors through life-style modification and nutrition.
