guitarist/singer looking to join or start emo/shoegaze/alternative band

Hi, I'm a 21 year old guitarist/singer/sort of bassist looking to start or join a band. I mainly want to do stuff in the emo/alt rock/shoegaze genre (MBV, Nothing, Gleemer, Cloakroom, Microwave, Hum, Title Fight Etc.), but I'm also down to do something slowcore (duster, galaxie 500 etc.), indie diy type stuff (Alex G...) Or even Midwest emo/math rock. I'm located in the Glen Burnie area, would like to stay within a 30 minute drive area but am willing to venture out farther if it's worth it. I don't have any practice space but I have some ideas for places. Dont mind pitching in to rent a space. I work m-f to about 3-4 so I'm mostly free in the evenings/weekends. I wouldn't mind doing some covers but original music is my goal. I've been singing/playing for around 7 years and have an decent collection of guitars and equipment available.
