This is free workshop for EBCAP staff, clients and families enrolled in any of the EBCAP Early Childhood Education Programs. Once registered, you have the option to choose to participate on location, or by Zoom. PRESENTERS: Connie Speidel, Finance Counselor for Connecting For Children & Families (retired), and Mike Speidel, Chartered Financial Analyst and retired Brown Investment Office Managing Director Both actively participate as site coordinators and trainers in the RI VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Program. Workshop Topics: • Obtaining and understanding personal credit reports,• Improving credit scores,• Wise purchasing, particularly for expensive items such as autos, insurance and higher education, and • The essentials of end-of-life planning.
