ACTUALLY feeling the fear and moving through it without unhealthy coping mechanisms to prevent a burn-out or breakdown -Public speaking techniques and exercises -SOCIAL MEDIA (expectations V reality) You have got to stop comparing yourself to these big ‘personalities’ and devaluing your worth. -Building brand relationships/partnerships/sponsorships -Contracts/negotiations -Marketing -Starting local/‘niche’….eventually WORLD DOMINATION! -Formats/pricing/host salons/tours/graphics/etc A stylist’s options other than being behind the chair, seeing clients have been limitless the last 10-15 years. I’ll share with attendees how I was able to build a community/brand using my social platforms and educate full time for almost 10 years…traveling to 36 countries, developing my own color line, educating independently, while simultaneously partnering with leading manufacturers, to name a few really rad things this industry has afforded me. I’ll also share my experience with extreme burnout and how I’d recommend implementing boundaries and self-care into your own journey. This is an open-forum, real talk convo. Let’s get into it!
