What would you like to manifest for 2023? Have you ever struggled to start a creative project, new habit, or manifest your dreams but feel paralyzed by the many choices you have? Do you get half way through and completely lose motivation? Then this "Create" shop is for you!Here's what you will experience with Christi: Participate in a meditation and FUN exercise to help loosen the bond you have to a finished product, habit or dream so that you can enjoy being MORE creative and in flow. Shine light on the self-talk that gets you stuck so you keep your sense of wonder and have less anxiety. Receive tips to create and manifest from an intuitive space. Create your intended "take home" project and continue to be aware of where your thoughts are. SPECIAL GUEST: Artist Eli Burke Eli is an amazing artist in his own right and will be lending his experience with art, creativity and intuition to this workshop. His mission as an artist and collaborator is to engage in meaningful projects grounded in intuition, imagination, possibility and equity. Eli has facilitated workshops for programs at the University of Arizona Museum of Art (UAMA) and as the former Education Director at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tucson. Eli also speaks at conferences and universities across the U.S. Eli currently serves as the Senior Program Manager, Design Projects at the University of Arizona, where he teaches courses in human-centered design. He holds a certificate in Future Studies from the University of Houston and was a full-tuition Graduate Merit Scholar, earning his MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2007. Eli is currently a PhD candidate in Art and Visual Culture Education at the University of Arizona where his research focus is on possibility, creativity, intuition and the imagination. He has also published several articles and chapters and is currently co-editing a book for Teachers College Press.
