Summary: Winters Recreation has a mission to provide the best possible service, products and services to our customers through quality carts & customer service. As a Parts Specialist/Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring sales by determining customer need, assisting in securing necessary parts, maintaining personal and company image, and ensuring customer receives a good experience. Phone etiquette is a must as you will have both in person, and over the phone contacts with our customers. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys people, likes a steady pace, exciting and challenging position. Nice Facility in a clean environment. This position will require a strong work ethic, a high attention to detail and quality, and an ability to work with all levels of staff within the organization. This individual needs to work independently, with minimal supervision or in teams to complete the needs of our customers. Duties and Responsibilities: • Focus on servicing our customers’ needs for in-store, phone and internet parts requests in a timely, courteous and efficient manner. • Interact with customers in a constructive and supportive manner. • Research parts solutions for customers – used, new OEM and aftermarket solutions. • Assist customers looking for hard-to-find parts • Schedule and organize the Service Department with parts required to meet our service customers’ needs in a timely manner. • Utilize company, vendor and industry resources to consistently grow your knowledge of machines and their applicable parts. • Process sales orders and returns • Collaborate with all departments within the company • Promotes teamwork and maintains a positive attitude. • Fills position at parts counter as needed to support customer sales. • Collaborates with management to ensure proper on-hand parts inventory to meet customer demand while achieving desired inventory performance standards. • Participates in ongoing inventory processes to ensure proper inventory control. • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by management. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Excellent communication & customer service skills • Work well independently • Attention to detail/Organizational skills • Ability to balance & priorities duties • Takes pride in their work • Basic computer knowledge to operate service & install software • Efficient providing timely responses as needed • Team player and positive attitude • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and fellow employees • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when required • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred • Previous Parts/Accessories experience is a plus Credentials and Experience: • School graduate or equivalent • 2 years of related work experience preferred but not necessary
