Handyman Maintenance Techs Needed A Jersey City based Management company is looking for an experienced maintenance technician. Work location: Apartment buildings in Hudson County (Jersey City, Union City, West New York, North Bergen, Harrison) Employment type: full-time Benefits: paid sick and vacation time, health benefits, 401K plan ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job Description: -Maintain the day-to-day operations of the property under the direction of the Property Manager/Superintendent Areas of responsibility to include (but not limited to): -Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned -Complete make-ready process of vacant apartments -Light plumbing and electrical repairs -Drywall Repair, spackle, painting, flooring, tile repair -Responsible for scheduled 24 hour emergency on-call maintenance service -Complete grounds work, which may include picking up trash, sweeping curb and dumpster areas, and snow removal ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Job Requirements: -Experience in all phases of apartment maintenance or relevant industry experience -Must be able to work occasional Overtime when needed/scheduled. -Valid Driver License and own transportation is preferred. -Must be able to communicate in English.
