We are a brand new line up for the pre-existing band Murder Incorporated, sideline by the COVIDS, & now putting it back together with new people in the lower Hudson River Valley (Westchester rehearsals). Drummer & Rhythm Guitar have lead Guitar (w/ vox) standing by, & we are looking for a female singer to (& new Bass Player) form a Rhythm section. Material is 60s/70s/80 classic rock... Some 90s +, if we can stay away from the long, drawn-out ballads. It will be a mixed bag of tunes played on rock radio station, & less as bar standards. A kind of eclectic mix of mainstream band & artists. Looking to rehearse in Westchester as a central location. Age is not so much a factor as long as U are into the music of those decades, & can & will be relied upon to be there always & on time (time is money), & not leave us high & dry last minute; however so far we are in our 50's so 40's & up might be best. We need 2 singers to share lead &harmony vox. Female with an instrument are optional (lead guitar or keybd, & I've heard women who can wail on lead solos with a rock violin). We prefer the male singer need to play some instrument we need. (Lead guitar is most important, lead who can slide is a plus). looking for all team players... no divas, nobody who's something special (been at this 15 years in multiple bands - nobody, but nobody, has ever been irreplaceable). Looking for a good natured bunch, no arguments or screaming matches (we're adults, we shld be able to talk). Would like to get this rolling in December to be gigging by March.
