Immediately hiring! Seeking a reliable individual with a positive attitude—-first and foremost! I am looking for an entry level special inspector and lab assistant for construction inspection and materials testing. Work at my Bohemia lab and/or construction project locations as assigned You will need reliable transportation and clean MVR. Perfect job for training up as a career or a college alternative. We pay for your training and certification testing—you do the work and study hard and learn first hand from our senior inspectors. Construction experience welcomed but not required! High School Diploma or equivalent. General computer knowledge necessary (Excel, Word, PDF) Responsibilities: Perform observation and inspection in the field or in a materials testing lab. Compile daily reports with results of field or lab testing. Pickup samples from job sites and prepare samples for lab treatments. Perform basic soil and concrete inspections with specialty testing as opportunity arises.
